I am a 19 year old male from Ohio, USA. I have graduated High School and am attending attending BGSU Firelands. I am very interested in computer science, music theory and composition. I, and this website, are dedicated to taking over the world one idle mind at a time, through the means of techno/electronica/dance music.

About my Music

My music is the product of the development of my musical talents since my freshman year of High School when I first started tinkering with a program called FL Studio. Over time I’ve developed a particular style and preference for my music. As I create more and more music I try to get better results by increasing melodic variety and improving my mastering technique.
People ask me a lot if I use the loops that come with music making programs. I do NOT use the drumloops, melodies, etc. that come with the program (except individual drum samples). My biggest problem with the techno/trance genre is the lack of originality and the tendency to just mash a ton of things together. My most important goal for myself is to be original. And that obviously means not using the preset synthesizer sounds that you hear in every song, and not using drumloops compiled by others. I take pride in the originality of my work more than anything else.

Other things about me

I enjoy programming a lot. I can program in C/C++, javascript, PHP, and some shell scripting. I specialize in reverse engineering on the win32 platform. I also enjoy web development: this entire website was made from scratch with Metapad and some mspaint/photoshop. (It used to be, but I moved it all to WordPress, and used its built-in editor and sometimes WinSCP to modify files)

I enjoy playing any kind of saxophone (although I only own an Alto) and I also like to pick up a trumpet every now and then. I have a Zelda Ocarina almost purely for the sake of having one although they can be fun to play.
